Yes!
I first considered myself a Satanist, secretly, as a young child growing up in the church when my religious community couldn't answer effectively what made God good and Satan evil, with the added knowledge that my church taught that witchcraft, homosexuality, and even "being goth" were Satanic--making Satan an extremely appealing option for a preteen like I was.
Was practicing independently as a Satanist for many years, and later only with select few Satanist and witch friends, until Satanic Iowa hooked up with the Des Moines satanic community a few years back.

Never know how to answer this question.
I believe in the scientific method, as well as believing in myself.
I usually retain an ambivalent attitude as to whether things that are immeasurable are "real" or not, as I find it more interesting to ponder if they are useful, harmful, fun, or immoral.
I have no issue with suspending disbelief to create a powerful ritual or spiritual experience.
